Bavaria from its very best sides

SPONSORED CONTENT: Bavaria is different – traditionally different! Hardly any other federal state evokes so many associations so quickly. Would you also like to be a Bavarian insider?

Bavaria is different – traditionally different! Hardly any other federal state evokes so many associations so quickly. What are they with you? We firmly believe: Bavaria is also an attitude to life. Relaxed and cosmopolitan. Rooted in its homeland and, at the same time, innovative and creative. Bavarians love their traditions and, therefore, like to turn them upside down. Which is fortunate because,as travel professionals, you, of course, know how versatile Bavaria is and how wonderfully surprising a trip to Bavaria can be.

In order that you can continue to advise your customers in perfect fashion going forward, we would like to present some of our current services and offers to you here. As the official marketing and management organisation for Bavaria as a travel destination, we are experts on the market and its trends; we also see ourselves as door openers and bridge builders and are at your side as your service partner for all questions relating to Bavaria as a travel destination. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!

Inspiration “next level”: Meet the locals!

How do you create an unforgettable, truly Bavarian travel experience? We are certain: it is the personal stories that make a place a destination of the heart. That’s why we have launched “Meet the locals”: We want to inspire travellers to experience Bavarian culture and customs through the people of the region. This is because, by following in their footsteps and being inspired by their insider tips, you’ll be experiencing Bavaria up close. A Bavaria that is more than the well-known sights: innovative and creative, emotional and surprising, yet rooted in long-established traditions.

For you as a tour operator, this means: more incentives for a demanding target group that prefers to look behind the scenes rather than walk along well-trodden paths.

With “Meet the locals”, we, therefore, want to introduce you to Bavarian personalities who offer a real experience. For example, Florian Blickenberger from Rosenheim, a goldsmith with a soft spot for summit crosses and lederhosen made of gold and silver. Or Elisabeth Stieglmayr, who, as a hop farmer, can explain exactly what Bavaria’s legendary beer is all about and is happy to open the doors to her farm. All ambassadors not only represent a special kind of experience, but also make a real-terms contribution with their insider tips so that visitors can discover the respective region away from the masses.

Have we made you curious? Why not visit our new “Meet the locals” page for even more inspiration.

We are here for you!

Or would you like to get in touch with us? On our Travel-Trade website, you will find all points of contact listed with their contact details. You will also find out at which trade fairs and events – both national and international – you can meet us in person.
