Kolpin Hotels headquarters are located next to Hotel Sanders in Tordenskjoldsgade in the heart of Copenhagen. We are a very diverse and international team servicing four beautiful hotels: Sanders, Helenekilde Badehotel, Tisvildeleje Strandhotel and our latest addition, Roberta’s Society in Aarhus.
Our team
The Sales & Reservations team consists of 6 amazing team members, and you will report to our Reservations & Events Manager. The team is part of our Commercial Department consisting of 14 team members by May 2025. We are ambitious and hard-working, but we are also informal and have a lot of fun. We strive to be the best place to work in hospitality!
About the role
We are thrilled to welcome another passionate and dedicated team member to a fast-growing hotel group. We are looking for a service minded personality with a positive attitude, who understands how to support and sell over the phone, in person or via e-mail.
A large share of our guests, corporate clients and travel agents, prefer to connect to our team directly for advice on room reservations, events, groups and conferences across all our hotels. We are busy every single day and the Sales & Reservations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in meeting our service levels, nurturing our client relationships and using advisory sales techniques to meet our customers’ needs and maximize our revenue streams.
Work assignments
- Deliver an excellent level of service throughout the customer journey.
- Creating, monitoring and analyzing reservations to meet our service levels.
- Assist and advise guests in selecting suitable products based on their preferences.
- Ensure efficient workflow for events, conferences, and individual reservations.
- Use advisory sales techniques to convert enquiries to reservations.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, corporate clients and travel agents.
- Coordinate with sales team on joint sales efforts and lead generation.
- Attend industry events, site inspections, trade shows and similar activities.
Professional and personal qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Danish and English.
- Customer focused mindset with strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record in sales and service, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM sales systems, Microsoft Office applications and ideally Hotel Systems.
- Positive attitude, humble and strong attention to detail.
- Dedicated and passionate.
- TEAM player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Accountable and persistent.
Practical information
It is a full-time role within our opening hours: Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm.
Sales & Service education, pension scheme, health insurance and lunch program are part of the package.
