Travelheart Family is a leading group of Tour Operators in Denmark. The group owns 16 different travel brands within both Sun, Ski and Leisure travel, and combined we send more than 250.000 guests on holiday each year. We recognise that each of the brands in our family are unique both in terms of product, culture and the way we run our businesses – but we all stand on the same foundation: that we create holidays we want to go on ourselves.
We are looking to strengthen the Product- and Contracting team in the sun division of Travelheart Family. The Contracting team is overall responsible for ensuring hotel capacity primarily in the Mediterranean countries. As a Contracting Manager you will travel frequently to our various destinations.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Travelling for contracting & negotiations with accommodation suppliers
- Maintaining and developing of the productMaintaining and developing of company’s working relationship with all local partners and suppliers
- Keeping a close working relationship with both hotels and destination agents to secure competitive prices
- Hotel inspections
- Negotiating special offers with accommodation suppliers.
- Data inputting into relevant systems
- Reporting results
- Monitoring of charter flight & bed capacities
- Yield optimisation
- Liaising with the team in the head office in Denmark
- Assisting in tasks as designated by the Head of Product & Contracting
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with experience in travel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric attitude
- Ability to work independently, with a professional and positive attitude towards team mates and partners alike
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel is a must
